Research Opportunities in RSBS

There are several methods prospective students can use to locate potential supervisors and research topics in RSBS.

Research Groups
There are 10 Research Groups in the School. Each group has a website identifying academic staff members and outlining current research taking place in the group. Students are encouraged to make email contact with relevant academic staff members in their area of interest.

Current Research Interests
Sometimes it may not be clear which Research Group a particular topic might fall under. For this reason a list of Current Research Interests has been developed. This is a summary of the key current research interests of RSBS academic staff, and research laboratories in RSBS. Each topic will link back to the home page of the relevant Research Group enabling students to pursue further information on the topic through the group's research page.

Potential Research Projects
Academic staff frequently list potential research projects for PhD students. Whilst this list is not exhaustive it is designed to provide an awareness of possible project topics. Academic staff in your area of interest may also be able to suggest additional topics that are not listed on this research projects page.
