Honours Admission & Scholarship Quick Guide

Step One: Select the RSBS research project you wish to undertake then make email contact with the proposed supervisor. Copy your email to student administration in RSBS so that the progress of your application can be monitored.

Step Two: Once you have received confirmation from your proposed supervisor in RSBS, you should organise for them to make contact with the relevant Department in the Faculty of Science (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Neuroscience or Botany & Zoology) on your behalf.

Step Three: Apply for Admission to the Honours program. There is a separate form for international students and domestic students. This is a hard copy application to be downloaded, completed and sent to the University as specified on the form.The University’s International Education Office has devised a site to assist international undergraduate students with the application process. The site is called ‘Ready, Set, Go

Step Four: Apply for the ANU Honours Scholarship. This application is an online form (open from August 1 to 31 October each year).

Step Five: Apply for the RSBS Honours Scholarship. (Project & Supervisor must be within RSBS.) Download and print the application form then return to RSBS, Building 46, The Australian National University, ACT 0200. To complete your application you will need to nominate two academic referees to comment on your academic performance using the referee report form which is to be returned to RSBS.
