Research interests

Genes, proteins and hormone pathways that control plant development.

I am currently working as part of the apomixis project on isolating genes involved in plant embryo development. This research ties in with previous studies I've been involved with on the signal transduction pathways controlling fundamental steps in plant development. Other ongoing interests include the study of reproductive biology, ecology and taxonomy of Australian terrestrial orchids.
