RSBS Apprentice awarded ‘Outstanding Trade Apprentice of the Year’

RSBS apprentice Ashley Moore has been awarded the Outstanding Trade Apprentice of the Year. The Unions ACT (Trades and Labour Council) Prize is awarded to the outstanding trade apprentice of the year who has completed off the job training. The prize is awarded annually at the CIT May graduation ceremony.

An extract from the official CIY Graduation Program Booklet for May states…

Ashley’s quality of work was superb, receiving 100% for a number of his assignments. His academic record is excellent, scoring the highest available grade in the majority of his subjects.

Ashley was an excellent role model for younger students, willingly offering assistance in a friendly and supportive manner. Ashley is a team player who actively promotes a spirit of enquiry and learning.

Ashley’s employer describes him as ‘a capable, competent and knowledgeable tradesman who completes his work diligently, safely and efficiently”. Ashley is a strong believer in the importance of trades and supports the principle of life long learning. He is a thorough and concise electrician who returned to CIT to add to his skills, becoming a highly capable and precise refrigeration technician.

Congratulations Ashley!
