Conference Dinner

• Date: Saturday 1st December
• Time: From 6:30 to 7:30pm the Museum will open three of its galleries; all conference attendees are invited to browse the galleries before the evening meal. The official conference dinner will commence at 7:30pm.
• Location: National Museum of Australia. View the website.
• Transport: A shuttle bus will run between the conference venue and the Museum from 6:15-7:15pm. Alternatively, the National Museum is located walking distance from both the conference venue (approximately 15 minutes), and Civic (approximately 20 minutes). At the end of the night, a shuttle bus will also be available from 10:30-11:30pm to return delegates to the conference venue.

Student and Early-Career Researcher Welcoming Drinks

• Date: Saturday 1st December
• Time: Immediately after the afternoon oral session (approximately 5:00pm).
• Location: Conference venue foyer.
• Details: Following the final seminar session and before the official conference dinner, there will be drinks and food available in the foyer of the conference venue. This will be a good opportunity to get to know each other before everyone heads off to the National Museum for the main event later in the evening.

Student and Early-Career Researcher Bowling Night

• Date: Sunday 2nd December
• Time: 7:30pm
• Location: AMF Belconnen
• Transport: A bus, departing at 7.00pm, will transport students from the conference venue to AMF in Belconnen. Return trip from the boweling centre will also be departing at 10:30pm.
• Details: This FREE event for all students and early career researchers includes shoe hire, two games of bowling, food and one beverage (beer, wine or soft drink) per person. A bar is also available at the bowling centre for purchase of additional food/drinks.
