Short Communications

This year, up to 30 short papers (up to four pages in length) based on presentations at AOVSM 2008 will be published in the journal Clinical and Experimental Optometry.

Manuscripts must be submitted via CXO's Manuscript Central at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ceoptom no later than one week after the meeting. Authors should categorise their paper as PROCEEDINGS on the menu on the 'Paper Type' page of Manuscript Central, so that all papers from the meeting are tagged as being from the meeting.

Papers will be limited to four printed pages, which corresponds to an abstract of not more that 200 words, 2000 words of text, 12 references and no more than four Figures or Tables, each able to be reproduced in a quarter of a page. Authors wishing to include larger or more Figures or Tables will be required to reduce the number of words of text.

Colour figures will be reproduced in colour at no cost to the author provided colour is necessary.

Papers will be reviewed by two reviewers, including one from a panel nominated by AOVSM, in time for publication of the papers in the May issue of Clinical and Experimental Optometry of the following year.
